Our second annual Grandparent Advice Day at RSMS was a BIG HIT!
Apparently, our students have been saving up questions for someone who has seen it all—because the lines for Grandparent Advice Day were LONG! Students lined up with questions ranging from serious to silly, and our amazing grandparents were ready with wisdom, stories, encouragement… and maybe a little bit of “Well, when I was your age…” 😆
From friendship drama to life’s big questions, our students knew exactly where to go to get the answers they needed. And let’s be honest… grandparents have opinions and experience on just about EVERYTHING!
A huge THANK YOU to all of our wonderful grandparents who took the time to visit RSMS and share their wisdom with our students. ❤️
Dear TFSD Families and Staff,
In the wake of the Canyon West shooting on August 1, the City of Twin Falls is leading a community-wide effort to facilitate recovery and support our town.
As part of this initiative, the city has created a survey to better understand which supports and resources are most needed. As a community partner, the Twin Falls School District is sharing this survey and encourages all of our staff and families to take a few moments to complete it.

Some of our boys showed up today dressed to the NINES—button-downs, ties, fancy shoes
(aka slides), and enough confidence to make us wonder if they had a job interview immediately after school. 😂

🍜 RAMEN BAR = INSTANT HAPPINESS!
Our amazing cafeteria crew was serving up some serious comfort food last week with a ramen bar at lunch!
Students got to customize their bowls and enjoy a little noodle magic right in the middle of their school day. Because let’s be honest…sometimes all you need to make it through 7th period is a giant bowl of ramen!
Thank you lunch ladies for always finding fun ways to keep our students fed and happy! ❤️🐻
RSMS picture day is Friday, Sept. 11 during the school day for all grades! Fall sports pictures will be after school on Friday.

We hope all of our students, staff, and families enjoy a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved three-day weekend. We can't wait to see everyone back in class refreshed and ready to learn on Tuesday, September 8!

Looking back at this picture of all the teachers masked up, we were told to, “Smile for the picture!” while thinking, “Can you even SEE our smiles?”
What a wild chapter in history!
