May 2 is School Lunch Hero Day!
They’re up with the sun, before the first bell,
Cooking up magic with a wonderful smell.
With aprons and gloves, they’re ready to go,
Serving up chicken, paninis, pasta, and Jello.
They don’t wear capes, but they’re heroes, it’s true,
Fighting off hunger for me and for you.
With laughter and love, and maybe a treat,
They make our cafeteria the best place to eat!
So raise up your milk and give them a cheer—
Our lunchroom heroes deserve it this year!

Last Friday, RSMS students joined the Twin Falls Rotary club to lay bark on the CSI fitness trail. It was exhausting work, but the students enjoyed the experience!

We can't just stop bragging about our cafeteria crew. They keep on spoiling our students. Banana bread and muffins, English muffins with egg and cheese, and fruit. Yum!

Our last social is this Friday, May 2 from 4:00-6:00. Don't miss out on the fun!

We love finding out about activities our students are in. Sixth Grader Sophia completes in local, regional, and national archery competitions. We wish her the best of luck next week when she heads to nationals!

It's School Secretary Appreciation Day - but we really do appreciate them every school day!

It's Bus Driver Appreciation Day!

Making math fun! Ms. Stewart's 7th Grade accelerated math students are learning about Theoretical Probability and Experimental Probability. Their task in class was to figure out the probability of certain things happening, such as: randomly getting a yellow M&M, getting a face card from a random deck of cards or flipping a cup and having it land upside down. They had seven probability stations to rotate through to experiment and collect data.

This warm weather is perfect for lunchtime activities!

STEAM family night art contest winners!

Wowzy! Raiden, Seth , and Lars entered the Rotary District 5400 Eco Film Contest. They were the only middle school team to enter the contest. They placed 2nd, beating out a number of high school productions. They won a $750 prize. They accomplished this while only having one week to write, shoot, edit, and publish the video.
