Wow! Today is just perfect. We had so much fun celebrating all of our special paraprofessionals. Hopefully they enjoyed a Day in PARAdise. Our fifth graders recently enjoyed some hands-on learning. You can see their concentration and their excitement in their faces as they experimented with chemical reactions. (Reminder: We are on Spring Break. School resumes March 31.)

The staff at Bickel did many THINGS to celebrate Read Across America Week. They read Dr. Seuss stories and symbolized them in the clothes that they wore each day. The game was to see if the students picked up on the staff all dressing the same. From Stars and Stripes, to crazy hats and wacky hair everyone had lots of fun. Don't forget to submit your child's reading minutes for the week to their teachers.

The PTO is currently in need of parent volunteers for ISAT testing in April and ISIP testing in May! Parent volunteers would act as an observer for the exam that will be proctored by a teacher. This may include escorting kiddos to the restroom when needed. Please feel free to bring a book to read or another silent activity to keep yourself busy during your shift if you sign up! We are in need of 3-4 parents for each day.
