~Greatness is our Mission~
Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Students:

As we kick off another school year, I want to share my appreciation for all we accomplished last year and express my enthusiasm about working together again to build on last year's successes and make this year even better. I had high expectations for what Robert Stuart could accomplish last year, and I must admit that what we achieved exceeded my expectations. It was simply amazing! I'll just briefly mention two highlights. Because of consistent academic improvement over the last three years, we were able to apply for and earn the status of "New School." This means Robert Stuart is one of the few middle schools in the state that is not categorized as needing improvement according to No Child Left Behind regulations. Secondly, for the first time in five years we were able to meet all Adequate Yearly Progress goals with our ISAT testing. This is something to be really proud of as a school. Together we made it happen! Let's remember to do all the good we can, by all the means we can, in all the ways we can, in all the places we can, at all the times we can, to all the people we can, as long as we can (adapted from John Wesley).

Sincerely,

Kasey L. Teske, Ed.S.

Principal

Robert Stuart Middle School celebrated Kindness Week from October 17-21. Students raised money for Alesa Easterling, a student at Canyon Ridge, who had a stroke and is now going through physical therapy. There were other kindness activities and a memorial activity to honor cancer sufferers past and present. Donations were made to the American Cancer Society.
