This year the Twin Falls School District will be participating in the Avenues for Hope campaign. This program will allow our district to inform our community about the challenges some of our students are facing. Hopefully the community will provide financial support for these students. During the 2021-22 school year, the TFSD identified 441 school children and younger siblings as homeless based on the qualifications for the McKinney-Vento Program. We are on track to have more than that number this school year. This means that children didn’t have fixed, adequate or regular housing. We rely heavily on our community to help meet the needs of these families. What can you do to help?

We have chosen this online event due to the success our school district had during the campaign last year. One advantage is that Avenues for Hope will match all donations up to the first $2,500. That means if we receive $1,250 in donations, it will be turned into $2,500.
