Congratulations to Jasmine Mower who won first place in our school-wide spelling bee with the championship word “uranium.” Philip Romney won second place with the word “tremendous.” These students won trophies provided by the Times-News and Skull Candy headphones provided by our school. Jasmine and Philip will represent RSMS on February 27th at the regional spelling bee. The winner of that bee goes on to the Scripps competition in Washington, D.C., so please give these students a pat on the back and some encouragement to keep studying!
