Dance Information:

Dances (TFSD Policy No. 570)

The dance will last for two hours. All students from Robert Stuart are allowed to attend the dances providing; they have a current RSMS ID card with them when entering the dance and they are not on a list excluding them from attending.

 No Card-No Dance! 

All disciplinary rules apply for school dances.

 Dance Guidelines

• Students, who are suspended, in or out of school, will lose the privilege of attending the dance that follows their suspension.

Dress must be appropriate for school; following the TFSD Dress Code. Students wearing inappropriate clothing will be asked to change before entering the dance.

• Once you have entered the dance you must remain inside, unless we obtain parental permission for you to leave.
• If you leave for any reason, you may not return.

 No one will be allowed to loiter on the campus following the dances. Students who are not picked up 20 minutes after the ending of the dance, risk losing dance privileges for the remainder of the semester, year, and/or following term.

Requesting Dance Guests

A Dance Guest Request Form must be completed and given to the office no later than the Wednesday before the dance.

• The guest must be a sixth, seventh or eighth grade student.
• The principal or assistant principal will call the home school of the guest to check on their citizenship and academic standing.
• The request form will be returned to the sponsor with the dance attendance decision.
• Approved request forms must to be brought to the dance, along with a picture ID, in order for the guest to be admitted.

Key points:

• Must have Activity card with them
• Dress code (No full masks or face paint, costumes or outfits must be school appropriate, no weapon-like accessories)
• Guest request MUST be turned in by Wednesday
• Must leave w/in 20 minutes of the dance ending
